Madison police investigate child enticement | News
Madison police are looking for a driver who approached a 4-year-old toddler on Sunday evening.
The child's mother said she was walking to her parked car when a man drove up to her child, who was standing in front of their apartment building in the 3100 block of Ridgeway Avenue.
The mother said she grabbed the child after witnessing the driver whisper to the child to approach him.
The driver is described as a white man about 40 years old with a slender build and standing about 5 feet 9 inches tall, police said. He was wearing a white T-shirt and a black hat.
Police said the man was driving a green, four-door sedan that's possibly an older model Honda with a white hood.
