Police Use Stun Gun On Pit Bull On Near East Side | News
A Madison police officer used a stun gun on a 7-month-old American pit bull after it latched onto the clothing of three people, including one of its owners, on Tuesday morning.
Police said the owner was walking her dog in the 600 block of East Washington Avenue when the puppy became aggressive.
Two passers-by tried to help the woman, only to have the dog lunge at them, police said.
An animal control officer was called to the scene to deal with the dog.
No one was injured, police said.
