Acoustic Quintet Coming To High Noon Saloon |
Title (Max 100 Characters)
Indie acoustic quintet Elephant Revival will perform at High Noon Saloon Thursday, April 5, at 9 p.m.
The band is on a national tour that has taken them from Colorado to Nashville to Florida.
Elephant Revival released its second album, "Break in the Clouds," which received good reviews from the blog, BluegrassLA. The album was released in 2010.
The band's name comes from when the band's bass player would play music in front of an elephant cage at a Chicago zoo. Two elephants died when they were transported away from that zoo.
Dan Rose, the bass player, called his bandmates to say they needed to stick together to survive, and that's how Elephant Revival became their name.
The band will be at the High Noon Saloon April 5, and tickets are on sale for $10. The performance is for people ages 18 and older.
